W Bro Andy Tong, WM of Lodge of Unanimity No 287 writes

As a proud member of both the Metropolitan Grand Lodge and the Provincial Grand Lodge of Cheshire, I am incredibly proud to share that the Lodge of Unanimity No 287 has officially gifted a Tercentenary Jewel to the permanent collection at the Museum of Freemasonry at Great Queen Street.

As the longest consecrated and oldest continuously meeting Craft Lodge in Cheshire – the oldest recognised Province under the United Grand Lodge of England – we noticed a piece of our history was missing from the museum's archives. Together with the incredible curatorial team, we knew we had to correct that.

To us, the Museum of Freemasonry isn't just a building; it's an indispensable bridge for everyone. It allows us to look back proudly on our rich heritage while shaping our aspirations for the future.

A massive thank you to W Bro Neil Collin and Emma for their hard work in making this preservation possible.

Next time you're walking the historic halls at Great Queen Street, keep an eye out for a piece of Cheshire history!
