On the 2nd June 2026, Acanthus Lodge No 2715 met at Mark Masons' Hall for an Initiation ceremony and to conduct its annual elections. At the same meeting in 2025, Acanthus found their dining numbers below the minimum required, a situation many Lodges and chapters occasionally find themselves in.

It was decided that a joint Festive Board be held with City of London Chapter No 901 and Wantage Chapter No 3178, both lower in dinner bookings than usual, and a joyous combined dinner was held within the wonderful Euston Room, where 24 Masons of different units broke bread together.

Once again, Acanthus Lodge dined with these two friendly Chapters, with a combined total of 34 happy and hungry Masons gathered, and as on the former occasion formed new friendships and resolved to reunite at the same time in 2027 for another successfully combined Festive Board.
